The food is our biggest passion. A twist on the ordinary, we are constantly looking for new trends. We don't limit ourselves to a specific cuisine - we believe all the different cooking styles of the world are equally tasty. We also get a lot of inspiration from Food Network and places we travel to, in and out of the country. We take everyday classics and add a "twist" to make it unique to our style..... from classic southern recipies like the turkey cranberry or mountain trout to classic American staples like burgers and Philly cheesesteaks.
Be sure to check out our sister restaurant, Sunny Rock Eggs and Things, located right next door. We serve breakfast with a twist as well! There is food for everyone. We rely on word of mouth. If your enjoyed your experience, please tell your friends!
Chef Burt Myers is one of 12 children, raised in the kitchens that his dad and mom worked in over the years. Their Dad was a certified Pastry chef who worked all over the world. Burt trained under Master Chef, Francis “Red” Bettencourt in the 1970’s and 1980’s. The family owned Myers bakery in Wisconsin for many years. All the kids worked in the bakery learning various skills. They eventually moved to Florida, but traveled all over the US during a time when housing was provided and children were welcome alongside parents in kitchens.
His parents also worked at Mayview Manor that was an infamous resort in Blowing rock during the 30’s, 40’s 50’s. It was torn down in the 70’s. They also worked at Grove Park Inn in Asheville in the 60’s and 70’s. The photo of the kid in red on the kitchen work bench is Burt at 3 years old while his parents cooked at Grove Park Inn. Burt also has worked at Green Park Inn, Chetola Resort, Christopher Ryder House in Cape Cod, etc. (just to name a few)

Very good food with an eclectic collection of food styles and flavors. Highly recommend. Sports bar area and family area as well.
WOW! We revoke our annual trip around this restaurant being open in the winter. The food is GREAT. The philly cheese steak is amazing. The avacodo egg rolls are just as great. It’s a must hit in the town of Blowing Rock!
My grand daughter is dairy free and we were able to fine a wonderful meal for her as well as us. We will go back.
